The series « ÉCLATS DE LUMIÈRE » understands couture not as a reference, but as a state. The works do not define themselves through existing references; rather, they behave like couture itself: extremely elaborate, fragile, temporal, and non - permanent. Couture exists only for a moment - for a body, an event, a gaze - and it is precisely this ephemerality that is made tangible in the paintings.

The silvered canvases reflect daylight and thus refuse a fixed pictorial identity. With each passing hour, the image changes, much like the energy of a body. Light, material, and color create states between sacrality and instability, between control and vulnerability. Bodies appear only schematically as carriers of energy - not as figures, but as reactions to light and material, comparable to the runway as a fleeting performance.

The pink coloration marks a deliberate rupture: despite its brightness, it generates depth through simultaneous contrasts, warm - cool tensions, and the shimmering silver beneath. Pink functions as an unstable threshold between seriousness and kitsch - a constant risk of tipping, much like couture itself. Couture always exists at the edge of its own failure.

Ultimately, the works do not reflect couture itself, but the condition of it: dependent on circumstances, without a protected space, and always at risk of tearing. Couture without fragility is costume.
