WLADIMIR TIMLER x LANDO KLEMANN [ARTIST COLLAB]
Wladimir Timler (b. 2000) in Pavlodar, Kasachstan is mainly a painting artist who lives and works in Hamburg. His works are known for polarities which he explore through the recurring image of the tiger. This figure embodies opposing qualities - strength and sensitivity, dominance and vulnerability. By using this animal as a recurring motif, he explore the dynamic relationship between human and non-human presence, and how identity, perception, and projection are negotiated across that boundary. The tiger acts not as a literal subject, but as a mediator between contrasting states of being.
The collaboration in form of this painting is an interface between their both artist stances and their very close friendship from which all this have started. Often they are working together on projects and change out their thoughts about painting as the subject itself. You could see this work as a beginning of their artistic way, wich is an intention of the painting also.
